Valid Hack - Need Help

Not sure how to read this:

Quote:

L 12/26/2013 - 22:08:52: [smac_speedhack.smx | 0.8.5.1] ******** (ID: STEAM_1:********** | IP: 24.91.19.14) is suspected of using speedhack.
Map: ch_map1_city | Origin: 2458 -7441 -977 | Angles: 6 -79 0 | Weapon: weapon_smoker_claw
Person in question has been on my friends list a long time - no reason to cheat. False positive?

It should be noted that I am using the !perks mod on my server - faster smoker something or other is one of the options (left 4 dead 2).

Some more:

Re: Valid Hack - Need Help

Heavily lagging clients (that have packetloss and jitter) can cause false speedhack detections that's why the module only prevents speedhacks from working but doesn't ban. Personally even though I haven't yet had a false detection on my CS:GO servers I'd only suspect a speedhack if there were multiple detections and the client otherwise had a relatively stable connection. As for that connection spam ban those can happen if someone tried, unintentionally or not, to connect to your server more than once within 2 seconds. Again personally I'd only suspect deliberate malicious behaviour if there were multiple detections.

Thank you for the input once more. It could explain it because he had a ping of 700+ for a while in one game - not sure if that's when this log was.

How do I read the log exactly? The numbers mean nothing to me for the reason "why".

oh I laged, my friend used my account. To my knowlege speedhack is the hardest one to hide, as its used in both movment, reload etc. I alyways permban anyone who apear in my smac log for speedhack.
Not talking the odd announce in game.

It's ususally a indication that they use a multi hack.
