(Re)Starting amxmodx?
 

I have a weird problem with server crashing. Once a day at a random time, two of my plugins fail to load and the server crashes on the next mapchange. Tried removing those 2 plugins (and some others too) but it didn't fix the problem. It still crashes but now without errors. So I put those plugins back and made another plugin that 'hooks' the event of those 2 plugins failing to load so I know when the server is going to crash. But no matter what I tried I couldn't stop it from crashing.
And now I have a new idea; shut down amxmodx before the map changes when I know it's going to crash. That will prevent it from crashing. :)
I did meta unload 1 and it worked but then I couldn't put it back on without restarting hlds. :D
Tried meta load and it loaded amxmodx but none of the plugins worked.

How can I start amxmodx in the middle of the game or at least make it start on the next mapchange?

amx_on? amx_off? try disabling all 3rd party plugins and make sure all yer modules are enabled. if not try reinstalling amxx

post the output of

'amxx list'
'amxx plugins'

When the server is going to crash, plugin no_ips reports this error:

L 09/29/2011 - 00:56:56: [AMXX] Plugin "no_ips.amxx" failed to load: Module/Library "regex" required for plugin. Check modules.ini.

Tried adding the regex module but it still crashes without reporting the error. Also tried removing the plugin and still the same.
I'll try amx_off but I doubt it will work since it only pauses plugins.

make sure all yer modules are enabled.

This server seems non-steam (hence the spec_banner_ads).
