Try amxxdump -? to see how to use the program and for the list of available arguments and their descriptions.

No file will get edited, you'll get output in stdout. Output will depend on what arguments you input.

ClamAv shows this as PUA. That should be validated again, to make sure there isn't something in the software.

Have you considered that ClamAV is throwing false positive? Also, you're welcome to ignore the warning. Open source software isn't perfect.

Absolutely. It flagged a text file. I opened it and it was a ransomware attempt I had saved as a text for cyber security officer. This PUA description wasn't the nuisance sort to ignore. My integrity is worth far more that.
