[L4D] Infinite Ammo Reserve
 

This is the second public plug-in I have made, and it is probably the most simple one out of those I have made to date, too. What this plug-in does is it automatically refills your reserve ammo whenever you reload. This means that you will never run out of ammo, but you still have to reload, just like the pistols.

I made this plug-in because...

1. It was very easy to do.
2. Nobody else had done it yet.
3. I don't like having just plain infinite ammo. It sucks the fun out of the game. I'd much rather just have an infinite amount of reserve ammo, and I think many of you will agree with me, too. It makes it feel less like cheating and still leaves those vital reload times in versus for the infected to take advantage upon.

I did not use any tutorial to make this plug-in. The reason that the comments are tutorial-like in the script is because that's just the way I write them.

Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Cvars (I only put working ones here. If it isn't shown, it doesn't work.):

• infinitereserve_enabled - Enable/disable the plug-in. (Default: 1)

Future Additions:

• Make it so that admins can bestow infinite reserve ammo on certain players if the plug-in is disabled.
• Make it so that admins can still have infinite reserve even if the plug-in is off.

Change Log:

Version 1.11: Switched back to old way of infinite ammo, although it shouldn't cause too many conflicts now. I need client confirmation of this.

Version 1.1: Used a more efficient, conflict-free way to give infinite ammo. Might resort to the old one sometime soon, though, as I think I've found a way to make it work without problems. Also added semi-infinite pipebombs and molotovs.

Version 1.0: None.

The code looks good, but you could probably have done it a different way that wouldn't require modifying the command's flags. Anyways, I suggest you shorten the length of the plugin's description. It's meant to be a short and simple, and yours is pretty long. Approved nonetheless.

How would I do that? I haven't really gone deep into the very advanced parts of sourcemod.

What?

I've never heard of it crashing games before. Seeing that you are the only person with this problem, I think it is a plug-in conflict. As for which plugin, I am not sure, but it probably isn't one that most people use.

it doesn't work. they don't get infinite reserve. u should put what this plugin isn't compatible with.
