I know this isn't really plugin related, but I just want to let you guys know how much I appreciate someone taking over this plugin. It is the most useful plugin I have, and I really depend on it.

Posts like that, makes you wanna continue to do this shit :D

I have a little problem with the plugin.
We have 2 servers -=[CS-Brabant]-[PubServ#01]=- and -=[CS-Brabant]-[AimServ#01]=-
The AimServ is also running the SQL for amxbans.

The problem is, when I load amxbans on the Aimserv it displays on the webpage (I also added reasons for this server).
Then when I load amxbans on the PubServ01 the name of the Aimserv01 changes on the webinterface and all information from the Aimserv01 is now displayed under the name of the Pubserv01

Do i need to change something in the source files to get this working right with more then one server?

If you have those servers on different IP adesses and not on the same computer.
Put this in server.cfg @ each server (change the nubers to the correct IP address):
It must be an Internet IP (wan ip)
That should do the trick if you have your servers like i suspect.

I assume this will also work with 2 CS servers on the same machine (differt ports)?

One of the best plugins for amxx, keep up the good work :D

I'm confused, what does this plugin do?

It moves the ban's of your server(s) from banned.cfg to a central database with a web-based front-end.
(And if you want admin management in the database)

Ahhh, by the way: Updated 2 days ago and everything is running smooth. Just wanna say THX for your work and for supporting this plugin lantz69!

Hello, I have problem with ATAC plugin.

I change in atac.cfg

atac_amxban 0
Change that to
atac_amxban 1

Problem is this:
L 10/30/05 14:05:07 - "name><ip><STEAM_ID_LAN>" "Team Kill Violations: 4 of 3 banned for 1440 min"

Where is problem?

I have amxx 1.60, amxbans 4.3, atac 2.5.4.14

Bans via web or server working great...

I think you use amxbans on LAN.

great work lantz 4.3 is the most stable version so far, by a long way.

My only concearn is about amxweb admins

I have setup 3 levels of amxweb admins, but I am concearn the lowest level level 3 has the ability to see the rcon pass of the other servers. I have not tried this my self, but will give it a go.

lantz69: thx now ATAC working great.

Next problem is if ban player from web interface (add live ban) nobody cant connect to server. All players are banned.

Any ideas ?

next my problem is:

I banned "KuJ3mB@K" player, after ban in log is this: (you see 6 player have ban!)

And after few seconds:
I use amx_banip 1440 KuJ3mB@K swearing

First remove the ban from the webpage
Second Don't use live ban on LAN servers.
I don't think amxbans was primarily designed to use on LAN servers.

But there could be a fix for this also, but I leave this for Geesu :D.
When banning on LAN players steamID should not be entered to the DB as all LAN players have STEAM_ID_LAN or VALVE_ID_LAN

That was what I fixxed for the plugin.

Add in add_live_ban.php just after line 72

Now work ok, but on web http://cs.antik.sk/amxbans/ is 2x banned player...

If i try to login into the new 4.3 Amx-Webversion, sometimes it wont open. If i am using it without beeing logged in, everything is fine. There seems to be a problem with the new interface or something. 4.2 worked flawlessly ;)

It seems that some images are missing on your site.

The login thing can maybe be solved if you delete the cookie for amxbans.

I copied everything from the package, so which images could be missing?

I cant see the next button image and the cstrike icon(if you use cstrike)

I´ve deleted the cookie, but after i logged in i got stuck a few minutes later :)

Missing images: yeah, you´re right. But if they are in the package, they are accessible by script :)
Maybe internal code broken? (wrong linkage or something) ?

No the images work on everything else, are the permissions set correctly on all of the directories for apache/IIS to see them?

I take it you just dragged and dropped the files from the download?

amxbans 4.3 (this one) is by far the most stable, bug free version of amxbans. Thanks.

and restricting their view to other servers and rcons.

hate for webadmins to view other servers on the list and see the rcon pass.

My live ban works perfect. Please read the FAQ and see if that helps.

There is a section about getting live bans to work.

About your other admins can view the rcon that is maybe b/c you have given them to much access.
You can create different levels for different webadmins. Just create a level 2 webadmin with add, edit, delete and unban privileges then they wont be able to see the rcon password.
Admin level 1 gives access to everything in the amxbans web interface and should only be given to people you trust.

But then I dont understand what you mean how they can see the rcon password if you have created a special level.
Do you mean that they can access the page directly?

I get this message if i dont have access to a certain page.

I had the same problem. Try using a secure link i.e.

https://www.youdomain.com/amxbans

This worked for me but I have SSL enabled on my webserver, you might not.

i installed the plugin on my server ,
the plugins list lets see that it works

also i installed evrything on the website

the site and the server ore on a difred ip and the server wont connect to the database ( phpmyadmin ) dont now ore that is a problem


i dont now or my msql settings are right ( from amxx )

Oke last time my problem was solved so here comes the next one 8)

We are also running webmod to display some stats from the server.
Both machines are running behind a router so no real external IP.

If I put the "ip" cvar in the server.cfg it makes amxbans work perfectly but it makes webmod crash because it can't bind to that IP.

I tryed changing the "ip" cvar in the source of amxbans to "ip_amxbans" put this in my server.cfg and this resulted in the webpage only displaying the portnumber and not the IP.

Anyone got any idea's on how to get these to work right? :)

In the source you could after this
put
of cource change the text ipnumber to real IP and there are many places where it should be added.

I don't think it's a good solution to hardcode the ip like that, but if it helps you in the meantime that is good.
I can't think of any other right now.
Also strange that webmod don't handle when you change ip, but I haven't used webmod so...
Maybe you should ask the folks handling webmod before you do any changes.

but how do you find the ip of the phpmyamin server
