Description:
This plugins gives bots cosmetics. Without TF2Items and other plugins. It's supposed to replace Bot weapon randomizer - https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=165590.

There is a couple of important differences:
- There is no config file for cosmetics. Mainly, because I didnt want to give bots items that are rare. This plugin gives bots cheap hats, you can get from random drop, crafting and easy to get unlocks.
- Way less taxing on the server, than the original version. No problem running this on a 300fps server with 30 bots.
- No configuration is needed. Upload two files, restart the server and youre good to go.
- Can run alongside Give Bots Weapons

sm_gbc_delay 0.1   // delay for giving cosmetics to bots
sm_gbc_team 1      // team to give weapons to: 1-both, 2-red, 3-blu 
sm_gbw_mvm 0     // enable/disable functionality when mvm mode is enabled 
Installation:
Autogenerates a .cfg file in cfg\sourcemod when you load it for the first time. Don't forget to keep your gamedata updated.

Basically the same concept as the weapons giving plugin so there shouldnt be any problem. I have been testing this one for a while as well.

BTW, dont forget to download the gamedata file. Its not the same as the one for weapons.

a question, is the Alliedmodders wiki really active, there are a few more F2P hats, even Promo items, like the Super Monday Night Combat, and Spiral Knight, and the Pass Time hats

Dont think the wiki is active, because only a few people have access to it.

I know about those hats, but I removed them because they are from playing other games.

It can happen if you set the delay too low. Its still rare though. Any details you can give me ?

According to the tf2 wiki there are 1277 cosmetics in the game. Im not gonna add all 1277 cosmetics just so your bots look cool.

Definitely not adding cosmetics that are rare or not from drop. I made this plugin so its easy to install and gives bots cosmetics. Its not supposed make bots look better than players and decrease the value of cosmetics. If you wanna risk a server ban, go ahead and use tf2items. Im not adding any rare cosmetics.

Adding class specific cosmetics would be a lot of work for little to no benefit. Especially so when you consider that Valve can change which classes can use an item. Maintaining such a huge list of cosmetics for bots is just stupid and a waste of time. So no, Im not adding those.

Also, I was just saying with variety, instead of just hats, like a few clothing. But good job overall, plus not sure if you know, but your mods are in the tf2 bot overhaul mod, which I play. :)

It would be a pain in the ass to maintain. I have already explained this couple of posts ago. I'll add more all class cosmetics though.

well is these anyway I can add it because this only having all class hats feel very plain it may just me but I like to see a bot plugin with a lot of hats for bots :3

No, Valve doesnt like when you give out rare(they said giving any items that are not in players inventory is not allowed) items to anyone. Weapons or cosmetics. I just wanted to make a plugin that would be easy to install and it would give bots cheap hats and weapons, that everyone can get. But looks like some people just want more and more.

Hey both plugins works great. I know you're against adding more hats to the game but could you please tell me how you do this? Its just for my personal server and im aware of the risk but with 18 bots there are a lot looking the same.

This plugin and the bot weapons lag for me recently and crash the game sometimes.

Im thinking about adding a bit more hats. To add them yourself, youd have to edit and recompile the plugin.

Well, I only have them both; I re-installed TF2 before I used sourcemod and metamod as well; it crashed, when I played on a second map with 30 bots.
