Re: SourceBans (1.1.1b) (UPDATE)

Im collating my problems in this post.

I am getting this message when banning someone of the webpanel:

Duplicate entry '0' for key 1

SQL Query type: EXECUTE
Script: '/sourcebans/index.php'
SQL Query: INSERT INTO sb_log(type,title,message, function, query, aid, host, created) VALUES ('m','Ban Added','Ban against (STEAM_0:1:112) has been added, reason: Cheats, length: 0','/mounted-storage/home59c/sub001/sc37219-RPSA/www/sourcebans/includes/xajax.inc.php - 1095
/mounted-storage/home59c/sub001/sc37219-RPSA/www/sourcebans/includes/xajax.inc.php - 744
/mounted-storage/home59c/sub001/sc37219-RPSA/www/sourcebans/index.php - 21
','N/A','1','78.86.4.24',1212955056)
SQL Params:

In my sourcebans.sql ive noticed this new ban is now starting with banid 0, instead of continuing from the last ban. There is 791 bans in my database, so it should start from 792 instead of 0. But strangely enough, the ban DOES go in the database. After this 1st ban, i cant ban anymore as i get the same message

I attach my sourcebans.sql, i hope someone can help me as i figure the error is stemming from this file

Hah fix? But the bug is still in installer which should be fixed man.
Installer can't make a query to database and is giving such error.
More and more people have this problem. I've also tried to install fresh sourcebans on THREE different hosts. In every i noticed it.

More over update went fine. (Update is making also mysql queries)

If you know something about mysql, php fixing it will be easy for you but tell it to other newbies. They won't understand it.

Olly please fix it. Older packages don't have such bug.
I know that you made brilliant work but why sb shouldn't be more perfect?
Installer is the main thing which should work in 101%

Can anyone tell me why I get a continous "Retrieving players" message in the servers view on Sourcebans please? Like so:

(BTW it's i before e except after c) ;)

This worked when I first installed Sourcebans, but now it seems to have stopped working, and the settings are correct in the sourcebans.cg file.

Re: SourceBans (1.1.1b) (UPDATE)

@Tramp: It's been fixed on the SVN, I don't know when we're going to do a proper release. Also, please stop crying for Olly every time, he's not the only one working on SourceBans (he's probably working the least on it at the moment).

@Warrior: not sure, I've had that problem too, but it was fixed when I updated to the latest version, so.

Re: SourceBans (1.1.1b) (UPDATE)

Alrite, I installed sourcebans succesfully and everything and then I deleted the install folder like I was supposed to. However if I navigate to my soucebans directory (www.asjdkhasdjkas.com/bans) it's just a blank page. Anyone know what I have to do to fix this?

Now, if I could only get it to successfully connect to the db, id be all set lol

I'm using version 1.1.1b the very latest that I know.

Games server is Windows Server 2003.

Webserver is Linux

Can you tell me what part of this plugin determines whether the web page can read what players are in the servers, as I've setup the database, cfg and sourcebans.cfg as per instructions. Bans work correctly and show up OK, it's just the retrieving players bit that's not working.

Thanks

Re: SourceBans (1.1.1b) (UPDATE)

Sweet, noticed that the plugin still report version 1.1.0 and you should open up for the option to specify what IP to use in the query (so I don't have to patch). This is needed for NAT server whose public IP should be displayed in web-gui

Re: SourceBans questiosns

Hi men,

two flat questions, because I'm noob:

1) This Webpanel + plugin make use of the banned_user.cfg?
2) If I submit a ban through mani admin plugin, that ban is submitted in some way on the web site and propagated between all my servers?

Thanks very much.
