Re: A vtable dumper that even you can use!
Is it just me or am I seeing weird symbols when trying to search for a function name? I'm using the latest Google Chrome browser. Didn't happened before.

Not CS:GO but both L4D2 engine and server binaries. Before it happened, I can search every function name I needed to get the correct offsets until yesterday, it acted weird and instead showed these symbols:
Code:
L W Function Name |
Re: A vtable dumper that even you can use!
There haven't been any changes to the site in months, and it still works fine here for L4D2, I'd say this is something wrong on your end.

Is this still working? I have tried finding "CHL2_Player" "FireBullets" and other things using the server.so (and server_srv.so) uploaded from the hl2mod synergy's bin folder and i cant find anything in them

Synergy's Linux binaries have symbols stripped, many other SDK 2013 mods and CS:GO do. There's nothing there for the tool to search through. |

Is there any other way to find offsets in these affected games? |
Re: A vtable dumper that even you can use!
As a heads up, this is currently broken in Chrome 57+ for large binaries (such as TF2's server bin) until I have time to rewrite how the WebWorker passes the processing results back - the Chrome team made a change that massively increases performance in the general case, but reduces the depth limit for serializing objects.
I discussed it with the people on the v8 team responsible for the change, and it was decided not to delay the release of 57 as they are already in the process of releasing it to stable, and this is the only thing reported as broken so far. So you'll need to use Firefox for now for these binaries. |
