I believe that with more active approvers, it relieves the work load and stress from the few active approvers.
This is because more approvers are able to review plugins quicker and also do less plugins each, thus giving more attention to the review.

I dunno, I'm at the point that I can usually intuitively see whether or not a plugin is worthy of approval. I find that whenever I spend more time on anything in particular, it doesn't really help and I just arrive at the same conclusion as I did with a quick glance.

It would be nice if someone else helped, though. The problem is that I don't think anyone is up for it.

By the way, I'm not listed there, but I'm fairly sure I can vouch for people.
