Hello,

I would like a very very simple plugin : admin can type
sm_fakeitem "Player Name" "Fake Weapon Name" "Color of the player's team"
And the plugin whrite in the chatbox :

PLAYERNAME has found: FAKEWEAPON
( With the name of fake Weapon in Green and the name of the player in Blue or Red )

Nice plugin, however i have seen someone claiming there is a hidden console command in TF2 to do what this plugin does, is that true or is it total bs?

Its true, but with this we can add custom stuff instead of just the weapons.

Ok and i guess that only works for the real weapons then, i tried it and it looks like it works though it is hidden.
This custom weapon name stuff is nothing you can do with a hidden console command then like the guy stated?

You can do anything under tf_english.txt, with the official command. For example item_found callout_ragdoll gives, Smashman has found: You! Inducing much lols.

Place the plugin in your sourcemod/plugins folder then go in game and use the command on the first post, in console.

Hi there! Does this plugin / tricks still work?

Because I downloaded the plugin, put it in my steam/accountname/SourdeMods/plugins folder and wrote the command in the console on a random server, but then the console always says that sm_fakeitem is an unknown command.

Can somebody help me out?

You have to put this on a server for it to work, not your client.

There's a plugin for this that also includes achievements, it's called Fake Messages, search it.

Awesome Plugin, I'm using it on my server right now, but is there anyway you can make it so we can put spaces in the name? Like, I try to write sm_fakeitem clicheusername Your Mom but it says in chat:

"ClicheUsername has found: Your"

Just wanted to know if you could make it so it shows all of it ~ Thanks ~ ClicheUsername

It is usable on a Mac (not sure if the mac binaries have been released yet)

You need dedicated TF server to use this plugin.
You can't launch it on Client
