hey there..

i just wondered about sumthing in relation to the steamcommunity..
is it sumhow possible to join a public group directly via a "steam://" - link,
like applaunching is also possible via a direct link without pushing any other button..

im asking cause i want to provide my players a trigger like "!join" which will automatically add them to my public steam community-group..

but via steam directly.. not via motd/ie (cause u need to be logged in there before)
i hope u understand what i mean...

any ideas plz ?! :)

There is no method to do this as far as I'm aware. it requires the user to physically click on a "Join Community" link. It's probably safer that way otherwise people could spoof links and join private communities trusting how Valve does things.
