People disconnect from my server when i connect

I am running a HLDS on a different machine on my lan. Ports are all forwarded ect. When i connect from a different machine on LAN it takes long to connect, doesnt connect at all or on first retry. I am also very laggy when i play from a different machine. I am using a NETGEAR router with SPI firewall disabled. What could be the problem.

disable router and say if you problem continues

I mean i COnnect from another PC on the same lan, If i disconnect the router i cant connect to my server from my playing pc. Yes there is no problem when i dont connect to my server with my Playing PC which is on the same LAN as my server but when i connect WITH MY PLAYING PC, I play for like 5 min and than bam, everyone is disconnected besides me.

IF I DISABLE ROUTER I CANT PLAY ON MY OWN SERVER WHICH WOULD MAKE NO DIFFERENCE AS IF I WOULDNT PLAY. Sorry for caps making sure thet u see it dont take it as screaming.

Have your server use a different port, Then instead of connecting to lan, connect through your internet ip.. not lan...

In the server.cfg, i believe the command is port, im not 100 percent sure though, make sure...and change the ports in your router as well to match...
