This simple plugin does one thing only: removes the old spray cache files that build up over time in the downloads/ folder. It does this every time a level is loaded so you don't have to worry about the folder getting too large.

By default, it deletes only the files that have not been accessed in over 7 days.
You can control this using the the sm_spraycachelifetime console variable (defualt value is 7).

While I know these files take up space, do they do anything performancewise?

They are caches of the sprays uploaded by each client, so yes they are there so that the client does not have to upload their spray every time a new level loads. This plugin only deletes the more or less unused caches of the sprays, so it should have very little affect on bandwidth usage.

Does putting the default days to 0 prevents sprays from gathering at the end of the map?

Is there a way to block sprays in general?

You can use the CVAR sv_allowupload and set it to 0 to disable sprays. You do not want to use this plugin for the purpose of disabling sprays.

sv_allowupload 0 will disable custom maps or any custom files from the server

sv_allowupload only prevents clients from uploading sprays (or maybe I am thinking of sv_allowdownload?).

This isn't working on new sourcemod 1.x. Any plans for it and tested?

It's working fine for me on 1.1.0.2119 on both DoD:S and TF2.

sv_allowupload only prevents clients from uploading sprays

so why should anyone set this to 1? are there any benefits when uploading sprays from client to server?
