I have been trying to install csdm into my server, but for some reason I'm getting critical transfer errors. The file that is having the error is the csdm_amxx.dll file in modules. For some reason it won't let me upload that file into my ftp server. Any ideas on why this is?

There is something wrong with either your connection or your FTP. Cause, I can transfer them fine to both of my FTP

If You are trying to update some older verson of CSDM (2.0), You need to stop the server (I mean stop the CS on it) then upload everything and start CS again on the server. Otherwise - if the old csdm_amxx.dll is loaded - You will not be able to overwrite it.

I am not installing new version and overwriting files. New server and I wanted to install CSDM in it. Shouldn't be a ftp problem, all I did was take the zip files and drag over to addons. Everything loads but when it comes to that file, there's a critical transfer error. Any other suggestions?

Are you extracting the Zip file before you upload it? What are you using to upload the files?

I am using winrar. Like I said everything else uploads except for that file.

What server host do you have? Several block dlls and exes from being uploaded.

1. Make sure the ftp server is not reject .dll extension as a blocked file.
2. What i find is that i need to stop csdm on the server before updating. I normaly do this by renaming cmds.ini & plugins-csdm.ini to .old on the end and reatrting the server. When file upload overwrites the .dll file rename everything back and rr server again.

Point 2. is how i do it and the developers of csdm would most probably say its the wrong way to go about updating.
