I upgraded to the 1.17b for the nade refresh and now wen somebody wins the map don't change. The screen just shakes and it restarts the map. :(

I noticed that the plugin Im useing stickynades.amxx don't work anymore with this new update. Mayby its the sticky nads that makes this happen. If so can you make this work with the new update?

Are you using gungame_mapcycle.txt? That's the only thing that would've changed so as to mess up map changing.

There's no reason that stickynades should be broken by going from 1.17->1.17b. Did you upgrade anything else, such as your AMXX installation?

I'm having some issue's since I added more maps to our gungame_mapcycle.cfg
Is there a limit to the amount of maps we can have in our rotation?

I've noticed randomly, so I'll just have to watch it more, that some maps get skipped. We have one map that worked fine until I added more maps to the cycle, now today, I was told that the map wouldn't end. It got to knife level and no one could win. This happenned the other night too, but I had uploaded an edited gungame_mapcycle.cfg and thought that it had something to do with a "no win" map. People were on knife level and that's were the map stayed.

Is there a limit on how many maps in the cycle?

I have 70 maps in my gungame_mapcycle.cfg now with only 2 repeating maps (they're ok though).

Onw map that we had a problem with was pistols3. It's a map where you get all pistols at once. Could cause a problem with "strip weapons at map start"?????

I think that as long as the number of maps you have doesn't exceed nine digits, you should be okay. It's possible that the calculations got thrown off the one time you uploaded a new version. Did it ever occur after that time?

Also, are you saying that when people get the final knife kill on these maps, it doesn't show the end game screen? Does it say anything?

I think part of the problem was a bad map. And it might be some loop problem when I added the mapcycle back in. As far as no end game, ya, people would be on knife level and knife someone and it didn't end game. It just treated it as a knife kill. That's happenned 2x on different days, but again, I think I had just added a new mapcycle in and that may have been the problem. I'll just have watch and see.

Also, I think, another problem was a map getting stuck and keeps repeating. But all this might be due to adding a new mapcycle in.

It's wait and see game at this point. I takes al day to get through our mapcycle, even on turbo, but at least there's variety. lol

The problem that I had was I updated the gungame.amxx but not the gungame.cfg. So when I did everything was fine.

We have one server that's been running GG for about a month now and it's starting to get problems. It froze again today on a map and last night we had reports again of no win at the end.

I just got another server up and running with GG, but it's not changing the maps.
Question:
Does GG require a newer version of metamod to run ?

I can't seem to get a newer version than metamod-1.19 installed. Would like to install 1.19p31 like on our other server, but this server won't boot up if put in the metamod 1.19p31 version .so (linux).

I don't know how to do any type of debugging for logs and wish I did.

Also, which may pretain to this topic, is there any logging that GG does or compile info somewhere that might be causeing the server to get full and freeze? Like too much info being written to server at one time? I dunno....just reaching for stuff, cause the only thing I did on my one server was increase the maps in the gungame_mapcycle.cfg.

What do you mean... "exceed nine digits"?

It just seems like we''re having more problems since I added abuot 20 more maps to mapcycle. We're running a 70 map gungame_mapcycle.txt. No problems when list was about 50.

Nine digits: 123456789

Reduce it back to 50 map mapcycle and see if the problems go away. Attach your 70 map mapcycle here and tell me the problem maps and I'll see if I can get it to break for me when I have more time.

It shows disconnects and connects again., no map change. Notice on both it says amx_nextmap= (the next map) and then later it says amx_next = (the last map played), which starts over

again.
Both of these maps were way down the gungame_mapcycle.txt list, like maps number 55 ish. Since both these maps we're before ak-colt_dust_arena, maybe it's that map. So we'll see what happens. We are cutting are map list down and we'll see what happens but we're leaving al-colt_dust_arena in to test it. ah and I just noticed it I don't have a RES file on server for it. Maybe that's the problem. I'll let you know.
