ok. i had the 1.16beta installed up until i seen the 1.16 release, everything was fine until then, now after mapchange, hlds crashes, and all i did was upgrade to 1.16, i have no idea why it happens =( :cry:

EDIT: anyone have a 1.16beta uploaded somewhere so i dont have to use 1.15? thx

I have the same problem. No error logs, the server simply stalles at mapchange but before the winner is triggered.
I made binary logging but somehow i cannot run the logreader.exe.
I will upload the logs i got to my webspace and provide you with a link per IM. Is this ok?

Don't wonder about the numbers, i have removed all plugins out of the actuall amxx plugins that i had turned of while i was testing 1.16

Mordekay, I looked at the logs, and of the 8, I think only 2 or 3 of them were corrupted at the end (indicating a crash).

None of them crashed on a call from GunGame, but later I'll go back and take a look at what GunGame did shortly before the crash.

Am I correct that your server only crash a few times during the period of your binary logging, or did it happen every time?

EDIT: What is your gg_endmap_setup? If it execs a file, post that file as well.

No endgame setup
And it crashes around every 1st or 2nd mapchange.
Switched back to 1.15, no crashes anymore

Try setting gg_endmap_setup to something simple like "echo END" and see if it still crashes. I believe an empty or invalid gg_endmap_setup is what is causing it.

In 1.16, it's right underneath of gg_map_setup. Did you say that the crash is right before winner is announced?

No, it wasn't in my gungame.cfg, searched for it, now i have added it with "echo END"
Yes, the crash appears as soon the knife kill is done and before the winner is triggered.
I accidentially deleted all logs from that date -.-

But one time i was on the server, mapchange but no winner was shown, so i guess it wasn't triggered, or at least: simply not shown.

Okay, well if it happens at that point, then it is probably not related at all to gg_endmap_setup. This is especially true if it wasn't changed in your config, then it would go with the default value, which should be valid.

Post your gungame.cfg. And are you positive that the server crashes, or do the clients simply timeout?

I have to add that the random weapons orders are added as i was on 1.15 again, until the i had only the one gg_weapon_order

I'm assuming that you don't have a gungame_mapcycle.txt, because earlier you were asking about getting a voting plugin to work?

Did you delete all AMXX logs or all server logs? If your server logs are still there for that date, could you check and see if the "%s<%i><%s><%s>" triggered "GunGame_Points" amount "%i" messages ever appeared?

K, the server starts crashing again with 1.16
Log shows scores and triggers the winner, mapchange, crash, server restarts.

Changed back to 1.15 as i have to go to work now. Will test more when i have slept past the nightshift tomorow morning.

It will be in 1.16b, which was sent out to donators yesterday. So the public release will be this upcoming Sunday. For now you can use that binary.

My server is crashing every 51 minutes + few seconds. Can`t figure out why. It was running perfectly before installing Gungame. I`ll try this binairy to.
