ghostchat_mm - Allows Dead to Chat with Living

This Metamod: Source plugin allows dead players to speak to living players in text chat. It should work with at least Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source.

Windows Offsets

If you're running Windows, set the ghostchat_offset console variable to the appropriate offset below. If you're running Linux do not set the variable.

Offsets as of 2007/07/04

Counter-Strike: Source: 349
Day of Defeat: Source: 348
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch: 348

Version 3: Updated to use latest SDK libraries. Offsets also updated.

Made pause/unpause not forget ghostchat_offset value.

The plugin should work fine, but I don't recommend running it on production servers until you know it works for you. And if you're running Windows, don't forget to set ghostchat_offset! Otherwise it won't work at all!

Is there a way to switch the plugin on and off during the game ? That option would be very usefull for me.

http://dackz.net/projects/ghostchat_mm/ - Version 2 is out. I fixed a late-loading problem with the Linux version. If you want to temporarily disable the plugin, just use meta pause/unpause. It won't forget your ghostchat_offset setting now when you unpause it.

No functionality has changed. It should just be less crashy with it using the new SDK libraries and linking properly. Windows offsets have also changed, so please update those if you're running this on Windows.
