Topic says it all, we looking for a Linux admin plugin that is working post Source engine update. This is for high traffic 24 player servers, stability is paramount.
the ever popular MAP (http://mani-admin-plugin.com) would be your best bet.

It looks like MAP has trouble with the new update too. I think theres not going to be any working admin plugins until someone figures out what has changed that made them stop working.

nevermind... it looks like MAP works if you turn off stats logging.

We we had been using Beatles it has a few options others do not that we really like, but he can not code for Linux and porting it is up to volunteers.
The "Pop" mods are very bloated trying to make everyone happy adding everything under the sun. It's sad that there is no real admin mod out yet, one that we can pick and choose what we want from it.
I have given up hope on source mod, I guess we will have to wait until a coder with real interest in Source decides to get involved.

I do care about the linux users...
I just know absolutely nothing about linux..

Sorry Beetle, I changed the caring part.
The fact remains servers are still very limited in what we can use to admin [ Linux servers even more so ], most these mods seem to be meant for Pubby play or home servers, not high traffic serious servers.
This is where mixing and match plugins to get what we needed and wanted and not having all the silly stuff came into play or have one persons needed addition to the mod mess up how the default server functions.
I have told you many times how much we loved your plugin, but we are running our servers on Linux boxes, we need an admin mod that will work on them and has some commitment to the Linux side of things.

MAP is working great on my servers...
You have to disable stats and logging, but it works like a champ otherwise as far as I can tell...
Mani's been updated for the new steam update.
Lunatic your talking like a crazy person! Which features do you want more of and which do you not want? You say "popular" mods are bloated but then complain that there are not enough features!
As for being most mods being windows specific, for every windows only mod there will be a nix only mod

Yeah I am a bit crazy hence the name lunatic
More so today trying to deal with servers full of scrubs and only rcon to deal with it. 40 admins wanting rcon now, 100 reserved players that can't get on to play without us locking the servers.
There are some key features of Beetles we really like that other plugins don't offer, uni name block, auto temp bans at set # of kicks, auto team joining, word filter kick control, map blowout to end stacked maps.
[Anyone up to making a mini mod with just these things for Linux?]
But for a lot of the other stuff we have no need like models, skins, sounds, glowing, giving health, voting for anything and everything under the sun. When setting a mod up all the time is used turning things off making sure setting can't be changed and making sure admin can only deal the game and not mess with players.
Each mod has a bit that is nice, but we are not about to run 4 mods to just have what we did in 1.6 with just AMX and a handful of plugins.
I just really miss having a AMX type mod, and I'm frustrated that the only plugin with features we want is only a bastard stepchild to a windows mod that can get no love.
I had great hopes for source mod, but it looks like many of them are back with 1.6, and that's cool, to each their own.
Well untill sourcemod your just going to have to live with it. For functionality i've seen the most from Nemod. Some claim that its unstable, but you should definately check it out. That is if Fysh updates it for this recent steam update.
