ok, off topic i know, but you guys actually have a brain on here...

can i make source use opengl? or can it only do direct3d?

i ahve a 6800gt and want to run in opengl if i can

AFAIK, the Source engine only supports DirectX ( :( ). So no, you can't. But DirectX works too :D
