i didnt really know where to put this, but it seems that ppl can crash a server when they have been banned, they just keep joining fast until server crash, then somehow the banned cfg get cleared and they can join again...

anyway to avoid this?

ban them by ip

ban them by ip?`ppl dont usually have static ips, so that dont really help, aint there a way to get the banned cfg file to not be cleared or something?

My plugin automatically restores it if gets cleared (as long as theres more than 10 bans in it.)
If someone has a dynamic ip...its still not as simple for them as rebooting or something to get a new ip..
I have the same Ip for months before my dynamic ip changes..
If your using my plugin I would do @banip <partialname> and that bans both there steamid and there IP.

I am having the same trouble. Also, is there a way to stop from seeing their name while they are connecting(even when they are banned) for that initial few seconds? The players will change their names to all sorts of vulgarities which is just a new form of spam that seemingly can't be stopped.
