music in server

is there anyway to have mp3s played as bg muisc on the server? wasn't sure if there is a way to do that in source. thanks!

You could do that in AMX(X) all you should have to do it make each client download the file and allow them to play it. But they would not all hear the same lyric at the same time.

Cant be so hard just give the server the soundfile (MP3) and place it in cstrike/sounds/music

then if u have a downloadurl to ya server then place it in the url like www.myurl.com/cstrike/sound/music

den you type in the console : Rcon play music/trance.mp3
