Now when I type php hlstatsxban.php it shows:
Please type your database information for HLstatsX and at least for one other ban [email protected]:/home/joona/hlxe/scriptat/ImportBans$

What I have missed? :shock:

You have to fill out one of those with the ban DB info and then at the bottom fill out your hlx;ce DB info

12-15-2012, 21:52
I have filled those. I just did put xxx to fields that I have filled in my cfg.

Try vs localhost TBH the guy who made these scripts have not been around for some time so there is no docs or read me files.

I just thought that problem might be that I havent done chown -R hlxceuser /config.cfg, i just made it for scipts folder.

Well, in any plugin i used with SRCDS, if You have MySQL locally, use '' instead of 'localhost'.
Somehow it wont connect to 'localhost', but he will sure do to :-)

You can always try to put there Your external IP, check it by command:

ifconfig | grep 'inet addr:'

The reason why you have to use is MySQL supports both socket connections and TCP/IP connections so as far as the server is concerned they are different address so if you do not have the user set up to be allowed on localhost IE grant w/e permissions on database_name.* to 'username'@'localhost' identified by 'userpassword';
it will be denied because MySQL rejects ALL connects you do not setup.
