View Full Version : Maps cycling like nuts

I boot up the dedicated server. Then, I boot up tf2items and Freak Fortress 2. The server is set to load "arena_badlands". Unfortunately, it seems the server has OTHER ideas. I try to connect, it starts downloading stuff to the TF2 Steam folder. Then, things get weird. I can't tell if it actually finishes loading things, but judging from the fact i left my computer, and played about 20 rounds of Fruit Ninja before coming back, and it still had the same path showing, I think it doesn't. I minimized TF2 and checked the consoles, and found that the server was literally changing the map with a delay of 0. Seriously. As soon as it loads whatever map it just changed to, it switches to another. Anyone know what's going on?

I also noticed one of your logs said that TF2Items wasn't loaded. I'm not sure if this is due to issues addressed in the previous topic or not. TF2Items 1.5.3 was released earlier today, though.

It may also be related to the missing tf2items.autoload file that is supposed to be in the extensions directory, but wasn't present in previous versions.
