Quick lamens way to write scripts?

Is there a quick way to learn scripting so that i may write this http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=176260 plugin myself, i understand code gets entered into a file label with .sp at the end then you can compile it on the sourcemod website but thats it.

You should not mix the words: quick, learn.
You should start by reading this (http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Category:SourceMod_Scripting) and this (http://www.compuphase.com/pawn/Pawn_Language_Guide.pdf), if you have questions ask in irc (http://www.sourcemod.net/irc.php).
