[L4D2] Goomba Stomp Plugin Request [from existing TF2 plugin] [10 $ PAYED]

i am requesting a plugin that lets the boomer, smoker, charger, and hunter, spitter "Goomba-Stomp" the survivors. if they jump down on the survivors head from a special height, they should deal damage (not much dmg) and bounce back in the air just like the tf2 plugin. there could be cvars that lets you decide which l4d2 infected you have to be for the goomba stomp to work. pm me if you're interested or reply here.

All I am saying is that why don't you request the original authors first before you try to copycat their hardwork. and I'm not harrassing you, i'm just asking you questions. is communicating and discussion no longer the point of the forums?

yes, you are. and this discussion dosn't belong here. this is a request section. why you came in here to offend me i dont know.

i didn't ask the tf2 creator because most guys doing tf2 plugins aren't familiar with l4d and l4d scripting.
so i put my request here instead. ive reported you to the mods now.

can any mod delete all the off topic?

Looks possible to me, Just looks like you would have to remove all the TF2 stock conditions like onbonked and onubered and add in left 4 dead 2 stocks instead although I'm no coder.

i tested that. it still woldnt work. if an infected would jump at a survivors head, his screen would just shake a little and he would fall to the ground. no damage caused to the survivor and no bounce back in air unfortuently. so i think it has to be rewritten but only some code needs change.

When I first saw the Mario Stomp, I realized this would be really fun to have in an RPG server. From the feedback I've received, and from doing it myself, it's really a lot of fun.
One amazing ability.

I just finished rewriting most of the goomba plugin so it works with other games/mods.
I made a quick L4D2 version but, for now:

Survivor can also stomp infected.
Sounds won't work unless clients use snd_rebuildaudiocache.
It has not been tested in real game conditions.


Just download both smx files attached on my post and load them (don't forget to modify dmg cvars to what you need).

Note this is an early release of my new version of goomba plugin and some things can be broken.

thank you so much Flyflo! :) this is going to be fun. i will let you know how testing goes tomorrow.

btw, since l4d2 has all that trouble with not downloading custom sounds, i guess you should pick a suitable sound from l4d2 itself and just precache it and then play it - unless you find a way for clients not to type snd_rebuild ofcourse :P

it's working but once or twice I had a strange lag right after hitting one of the survivors head, it kinda delayed the rebounce, but other than that, well done :P
