Call of duty: Modern warfare 2 Mod
DescriptionModern Warfare 2 (MW2) is a Counter-Strike server side modification, which turns the game into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay.
This plugin gives you:
14/16 of the perks in MW2 (other 2 not compatible)
8/15 of the killstreak-rewards in MW2
Create player class feature
Military Rankings
Team Deathmatch feature (players can continually respawn)
Multi-language
MW2 skin! (player models)
Details:Gameplay:Melee attack: which makes character pull out knife and attack instantly, and melee distance increases if you have Commando Pro perk on.
Health regeneration.
Announcements (example: Multikill, players uses EMP/Tactical nuke, etc...)

Grenade launcher for M4A1/AK47
Martyrdom: which is a deathstreak, when you die 3 times in a row with no kills, you drop a live grenade just after dying.
No team flashing: Your flash grenade can flash you and enemy team only
Save/Load player data
Available Killstreak rewards: [kills no deaths: reward]

5: Predator Missile

Download the amxx files:

This plugin has to be compiled manually, and web compiler does not give you the right file:
1. after extracting the zip file, compile 'cod_mw2_mod.sma' and copy the amxx file to "./amxmodx/plugins/" folder
2. get the infinite round plugin amxx file from the link above, and copy the amxx file to "./amxmodx/plugins/" folder
3. Mod is installed. have fun!

Just so you know, you can't legally distribute the sounds used because they have a copywrite and belong to infinity ward/activision.

I tested it on my dedicated and I find more bugs. For example, when I have m249 and someone shot me I'm buried in the ground and I can't move. And the reload bar finish before that I finish reloading.
But very cool the MOD, thanks for release it.
PD: Add lang file plz. If you need testers or help tell it.

Changing a player's settings (cvars, binds, files, etc.) is not allowed without the player's permission.
Doing so without their permission is called "slowhacking", and is not allowed here.
Until this is changed, your plugin is likely to be unapproved.

hey man i think a player should have only 3 killstreaks, or maybe you could do this when the round starts or the player had just joined there will be a menu that will ask you for 3 killstreaks, so it will be more like cod mw2 :D

This is so awesome man, been testing on LAN for awhile now and having a blast. Haven't really noticed any problems. Only thing I can think of improvements is maybe the sentrygun model to be more like mw2. More classes + new create-a-class option maybe. Weapon and equipment unlocks? like mw2, maybe that could be an option. Like lvl 4 = unlock create-a-class etc. Counter-UAV?
I really don't want to list to much stuff because you may already have these ideas but I can't think of much more to say other than thank you! Many people have been asking for such a plugin and until now, you have been the only one to make a really nice, free plugin for the community. Keep it up man!

And just one ideea, change the engfunc(EngFunc_PrecacheModel, model) with the default amxmodx natives because it is more fast!

that can only happen when you get 25 kills!
I'm guessing your bots are faster when no real player is present
you can disable skins!

Oh man you got me excited lol love checking back and seeing your updates or future plans haha. I havent yet seen the bad pointer error yet only the no free edict or something like that but you already know this happens. Is it possibly because of all the scavenger packs after awhile?

It's looking pretty good man, I've had a few crashes but I think it's a result of a few third party plugins such as parachute so I am only using the mod currently and I think it's going really well.
Two things I can think of that I seen is, if you start as scavenger and end up changing your 1st perk, you still see scavenger packs dropping. I may be wrong in this, in that, your always supposed to see these packages because they also give health. I just think it would be more accurate that only someone using scavenger should see the packages and anyone without it shouldn't see anything that drops. This is just my opinion though it isn't game breaking I don't think unless No Free Edicts is caused from this.
The other small problem I find is that if using a claymore and a teammate happens to be in front of you, the claymore will stick inside the teammate causing him to be stuck until he dies/disconnects. I can imagine this would be really annoying if someone is doing this on purpose.
Other than that the only minor thing I see, and it's not even a problem only for aesthetics really, is making the airplane model appear a bit lower if possible, because on most occasions the model isn't visible. No biggie though man, this is a a wonderful mod you have created & I really enjoy it.
EDIT: I just had an idea of the possibilty of a score limit? i.e. 7500/10000 pts = nextmap? I had this done with CSDM Tickets, only I just finally found the problem of my crashes is when I run csdm main and csdm tickets server will eventually crash. Just an idea I had.

1. - Thanks for info, I now removed all plugins except for amxmod defaults and I was still getting crashes for some reason. I am using podbot though for testing purposes so that could be the issue, but I have been trying to eliminate the problem by removing things that I thought might cause a problem so I removed having the bots start with nades/semtex, and stopped the martyrdom and still had some crashes. So I stopped DO_RESPAWN and am now just using CSDM to make the respawn and for some reason I have been able to run 3+ hours with 20 bots and no crash. If I crashed after switching to CSDM my next idea was to stop bots firing tubes, but so far I haven't needed to do that. I will keep testing thoroughly.
2. - Thank you for that info, it's not a big deal now from the looks. I have seen a ton of packs on the ground and didn't receive any crashes from them, not sure if it could be map related or not but I will still keep testing.
3. - Claymore does seem a bit better, instead of staying in mid-air it seems to gradually float to the ground, but the problem still exists with making players stuck, sadly.
4. - Plane model looks a bit better now, on most occasions you will see the model clearly depending on your current height on the map. Thanks for this.
5. - I had Orpheu running before for infinite round, but for testing purposes now I have it disabled to try and eliminate any possibilities for crashes.

Have not yet been able to thouroughly test gl_rad_damage or unstuck not much time today and a lot due to server crashes.
I am only running MW2 and standard AMX plugins and I keep receiving this in console and server crashes/freezes. I was wondering if you have seen this before?

ahh man that sucks but i am glad it wasn't just me. I could never run very long without the server crashing. Sometimes it would say because mp.dll other times because fakemeta_amx.dll and sometimes just unknown. I even stripped the server of scavenger/health packs, grenaded launchers, semtex/frags, and even tried different methods of stripping weapons and respawning and still it would eventually crash without an error. Shame man you did an excellent job :(

Yeah this mod is pretty substantial compared to the ones I've looked at before. I tried to think of the biggest functions and stop/change them to see if I saw change, and I still wasn't able to stop it.
It's really strange though because the crash is very random. Sometimes it will crash 3 mins after starting, and other times I can go 3-4 hrs. It seems to me the crash is a specific instance and is the reason why it's so random because it takes some time for that specific instance to occur. I just wish I could find it!
I even tried recording with HLTV and then going back 5 secs before the crash, and it seems 8 times out of 10, the crash would occur right after a nade was used/thrown. This is why I stopped martyrdom/semtex/frag/scavenger packs, but I never did stop flashbangs, but I doubt that is the reason for the crash.

Then debug it? I'm sure there are plenty of people here willing to help, as long as you just ask. If you drop support for your plugin, even though it's 6000 lines long, what was the point of releasing it in the first place? Take a look at Emps PokeMod; it's over 15k lines of code - and he spent quite some time debugging. Don't drop your support, don't rush things, just take your time and try to figure out the problem.
This forum is far from dead. Setup a thread in scripting help and you'll get some help, no doubt about that.
Just ask on the polish support site. Of course in english. There are many of helpful people.

Xellath is right. This forum is far from dead. Every time i needed help with anything i got it. Just ask for it in proper section and i am sure they won't just ignore you! It would be pity to leave this plugin unfinished just because of this problem. Once i was trying to solve problem in my code for ONE WHOLE day but at the end i found it and fixed it and now it works perfectly.
Just don't give up, you already did a lot of work on this plugin. Don't throw it out of the window just because of this ;)
At first you should try to identify when does the server crash. Get some friends and play. And then when server crash ask them what were they doing at the moment the server crashed. Where they were standing. What did they did earlier that round. This is scripting language. It's just hooking to their behaviour. There must be way how to find out. You maybe won't get line, but you could find out in what part you should look for and then it will be easy to find the problem.. Commenting piecies of code, trying to crash server again with different code.. For me it's almost best part of programming.. It's just like detective story. There is some bad piece of code killing your server all over and over again. :D :D :D :D ;)
There is always the way.
It's simple really. Debug just about everything and you'll have no problem finding whats wrong. As said before, no need to rush - it takes time. It can be very time-consuming, but don't let your work go to waste.

it was (get_pdata_int CSTEAM) crashing my server

LOVE IT!! But, when you press your right mouse key to switch aiming modes it doesn't let you shoot for 2-4secs. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's intentional. If it's the latter, can you make it so that we can change it to no lag at all?
Another request, on the killstreak menu, can you make it so that #1 on the menu is "ok"? Not alot of people know that they have to go to the 2nd page and press ok. Most of them just click 9 (exit) after picking up the killstreak rewards they want.

thats disable by default and I think it's because if someone killed you, you can't tell your team hes location! dead players shouldn't be able to chat with alive players, it's cheating

What about improving multilang? Not very convenient to change in the source translation after any update. Like phases Bull Eye or Killstreaks/perks/ranks and other text by mod

About the lag, don't use the StartFrame forward, it is removing from the server FPS, instead of 900 you'll have only 600 or something like this...
You have also added a loop inside the StartFrame forward, this also is creating much lag...

Ive got the models in the right place i wouldnt have gotten that wrong i dont understand how this is coming up so wrong i even tried making my own plugin to precache the models and then use the models precached from that for the modern warfare models it still didnt work i just dont get how this is happening.
it loads the models for me because ive got it on my cs1.6 already , and it loads the m4 model for about .2 of a second then i get the error and its only when a person joins that this error comes up and the server just Crashes and burns to the floor
the models are all there i have 1.3.4 working fine but the 1.3.5 just come up with that error

When it says model not precached means theres an issue with where the mdl path is and the mdl thats there.. meaning at the path models/codmw2/v_m4a1.mdl v_m4a1.mdl is not there or the path is wrong.

i See youve precached it i have looked through the code for it and i have seen it the model IS in the right place because i HAVE IT WORKING FOR 1.3.4 Just for some reason it doesnt work properly in 1.3.5 it have not changed the m4a1 model at all it works for 1.3.4b just doesnt work for 1.3.5 i know its been precached in code but it just doesnt work properly? and please dont get angry at me D.moder im not as dumb as u think i do know how to read through code and see that its been precached i just dont understand why it hasnt worked????

Install the required orpheu signatures.
I have the models already copied over and i do when its live yes, i really dont understand how it is told to precache but just doesnt when everything works for older version but not newer?
1 thing you should know, if you use the mw2 skin, you have to make sure these files exist in server:
sound\weapons\M4A1_Carbine\Clipin.wav
sound\weapons\M4A1_Carbine\Clipout.wav
sound\weapons\M4A1_Carbine\cloth.wav
sound\weapons\M4A1_Carbine\Forearm.wav
and these files exist in the main zip file, and they get precached in plugin.
Edit: this Mod has been tested in 8 different servers, and no such problem, don't blame my newer version!
Works perfectly in my server.

I told you to not say that, orpheu is not an official module and the webcompiler doesn't have the .inc files. Though this one is stupid and will try to compile and will give a wrong file/size (like 1 mb). The next verson coming soon I will provide the .amxx.

Im not blaming ur mod man i just dont understand why it doesnt work and yes all the sound files are there too it wouldnt work in 1.3.4 if they werent???

Zero, delete everything and start over. That's the best option for you now. It'll take you a while to figure out what the problem is, and it's probably something small and hard to notice.

CoD CTF (CoD mod + CTF) will be perfect.
CoD Classic (just off DM, and activate cs missions like plant bomb or save hostages.)
And make vote for playing mod at start map.
Ps. I fixed all errors, by changing build server (orpheu not works fine at old build). grac me :D

I was wondering if anyone is having any success running this mod with bots? If so could you please list how many bots and possibly your server's specs? I'd be greatly appreciated.
I have only been able to run for a max of 5 hours with bots before a server crash, usually it's within 30 mins but I got lucky once for 5 straight hours :P.
Server sometimes crashes with:
PM Got a NaN velocity 1
Got a NaN velocity on weaponbox
but about 90% of the crashes are from mp.dll
Faulting application hlds.exe, version 4.1.1.1, faulting module mp.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000b3f28.
Still thank you for your continued support Moder, the recent updates since I last played are really really nice!

whats the difficulty of the bot got to do with the BUG that he had just shown?
and i theres also this bug that you headshot someone and it will show "Headshot" then "One shot one kill" even though it was not a sniper that killed him with One shot
