ne1 kno how to refresh user crosshair? can I send the crosshair message to a user?

i thought crosshair is the pinty thing (amier), never new it was text

it is a sprite but there is a cs event message that can be sent to a player ......I wanna kno how to use the message or even if its the thing I need

after looking through the hl1sdk I realized I have no clue where to look.. I found a few things that are related to the crosshairs, but the trail got cold at the SetCrossHair function. Does anyone know if that is indeed the function that updates the client crosshair spread animation? And if not, where should I be looking for in the sdk?
