I checked the both sources and they do much pretty the same now. Both have same rcon protection, many same cmds blocked, bad plugins check and so on. For people who do not understand the coding, wont that cause some problems running 2 plugins at the same time? Its something like running 2 antivirus programs. Some people are very concerned about security and just add whatever has the name protection from something

You can run both, but there is no reason.

To keep it simple, Rcon Lock has rcon protection, exploit blocks and command logs. KAC does all the same stuff but is also an anti-cheat.

I run both and D-Fens together just fine. Never had a problem.

KAC has a lot more advanced stuff in it but rcon_lock probably is enough for most. I'd say if you run CS:S though KAC is probably a must have.

edit: and they both co-operate fine with each other
