Yes, it should work with NS3. I included those patches.

what exactly is diffrent abotu metamod x ? besides adding ns 3 entities and maybe some other mods

It is compiled against new engine API offsets given by VAVLe, as well as some other updated SDK material. This is necessary because Metamod was oft to crash on some servers because it was looking for addresses from the old SDK.

Reference the Valve hlcoders mailing list, I think the date was December 27 or November 27th where they revealed some important SDK changes, which Metamod has not updated.

So why is metamod not updating on it's own. Is that project dead as well? Maybe they could hand over the keys to you guys :)

It appears Will Day does not have much time for Metamod anymore.

I do not want to completely fork Metamod because I do not want to hold the keys to the future of modding... at least not yet ;]

I will e-mail Will Day the patches and ask him what he thinks.

I think they just need to update the links on the site? but not sure if there is a separate release of those or not..
