View Full Version : Your client has failed to reply to a query in time.
Is there anyway to increase this time? Seems like this happens a lot more frequently than it should.
Also, even though this seems like a KAC kick, it isn't logging anything which made debugging a bit more difficult.
It indeed doesn't log. I'm going to change the structure around that kick so it retries a couple of time.
That would be great, I constantly see players beenging kicked with this reason.

We've played a team versus match on my server (L4D2) and people got kicked about once a map with this reason.
Same here i am seeing players getting kicked, including myself for this in Insurgency.
The logic for the retry has been changed for the next update.
It will retry a convar query 3 times waiting 30 seconds for each before kicking the client.
Any way to turn it off completly for now?

Why you wanna turn off Anticheat protection.
If I wanted to turn off Kigen's, I would turn it off.
I am asking if there is a way to turn off what ever it is that is kicking people because of what is being discussed here.
Your client has failed to reply to a query in time.
It has kicked me twice since I installed kigan's on my server, and I see people being kicked all the time with the same msg.
No, there is no option to turn that off individually since it is a critical part of the anti-cheat.
ok thank you. I'll wait and deal with it for now. Thank you kindly, for your work.
Hello,

Is there a way to increase this timer ?

Thanks.

EDIT : Modified the source so it waits 45 seconds instead of 10, sometimes L4D takes a very long time to load...
KAC 1.2 should have solved that problem.
im getting this after the new tf2 update
