View Full Version : Immunity modes on players

Here we can discuss how the immunity modes should behave. My ideas so far:

Individual modes per class so each class can have their own special skills.
Timed god mode. Just like spawn protection, but can be triggered manually. Should be limited to 1 or 2 times per round (not per life in that round).
Slow infection. Will be infected n seconds after hit by a zombie.
Knife to death. Won't turn zombie until less than x HP left.

We could have some immunity modes for zombies too, like eliminating knock back and bullet damage for n seconds.

Post your ideas, and after a while we might get some awesome ideas we could implement.

Hmm i think that to implement this things ZR should have an integrated credit system that plugins can use with functions, just like the one in !Zprops but integrated in ZR core, so instead of using players money, u can spend your credits in weapons, immunity for limited time (like 15 seconds, where you dont get damage and 0 knockback, this would cost a large amount of credits)

This is already implemented in counter-strike 1.6's Zombie plague, you can get some ideas from there.

Also, it would be cool that the last human alive were killed by zombies instead of infecting him with 1 hit

have there been any thoughts/actions on implementing this feature in ZR? I am really interested in having this for my classes on the humans and zombies.

A such complex thing will affect several areas in the plugin, so it won't be implemented in the stable beta 2 branch because it might introduce bugs.
