This may be the wrong forum, but ever since the Sept. 29th update I can no longer access the Sourcemod submenu in HLSW, it remains greyed out.

Any ideas if the problem could be:

HLSW
Sourcemod
Me
Conflicting files within my server
?????????????????

The new update has broken the query protocol. There's not much we can do to fix it, it's all up to Valve to release a patch

Bumping this.

Is it the reason why I can't see MetamodSource/Sourcemod in HLSW?

I don't know if it's been fixed already.

EDIT: Oh shit, I thought this post was 2008. Lol.

I have to say i am a bit confused by this Post. When you say the Sept. 29th update, do you mean the Left4Dead update.

My Left4Dead Server has Sourcemod 1.2.4, Metamod:Source 1.7.1 and i am using the latest HLSW 1.3.2.1

I have no problems whatsoever with it. It is the same as it has always been. The Sourcemod Sub Menu's work perfectly and there are no problems with player counts which some people have been mentioning. Everything is the same as it was before the update for me.

Have you tried putting a tick in the Auto Update Status box in Rcon Config so that the players Steam ID's show up?

Yes, this update broke the a2s_rules query for some (but not all) servers. This is causing HLSW to not see the "rule" for sourcemod and thus, not know sm is installed on the game server.

Ahh right. Maybe its just effecting Linux Server's then and not windows etc.

A thread from almost a year ago, any fix for this? It's still driving me crazy. I know there's a command to fix it, but I can't find it.

Does rulesfix (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=138375) fix the problem?

Not sure, so far only did a small map restart rather than a server restart. The ext and plugin is loaded, but sm_fix doesn't seem to do anything.

sv_master_legacy_mode 1 in server.cfg fixed it for me.

edit: Apparently this gets you delisted from the master server. Crap.

Read through this thread: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=131801, the fix I've been using on my servers is listed on page 2 of the thread.
