1) Comment out the sv_region line in your server.cfg

Doesnt make any difference to my Server this unfortunately.
My Server only appears in the Master List when you set your browser search tags to all regions in Custom Servers. It never appears in the Browser/Master List when the search is set to the relevant region which in my case is region 3. Exactly the same thing happens whether the sv_region 3 is commented out or left in.
It only comes up with around 30 servers in region 3. Steam Group still will not show and Server is still empty 99% of the time. Since yesterdays update, the Server has had only 1 lobby play on it and that was late last night around 11pm. Todays update has made no difference and in fact there are less servers in region 3 than there was before the update.

I was wrong about this just so everyone knows.
I have tried it again tonight and commenting out the sv_region as crazydog has said above does in fact get the Steam Group and Lobbys working again.
Not sure why it didnt work this morning but who cares why because it is working now LoL.

This maybe a result of wrong setup? My server has been full since the DLC release, no crashes at all.
My server is not appearing in Community Servers, but this is a valve bug, Not yours.
There was an update last morning, there've been some fixes.
Perhaps you should read my 2 posts again LoL.
Yesterdays update did not fix the lobby and steam group problem for my region 3 Server.
Lobbys now only connect and the Steam Group only shows up if the sv_region is commented out. If the region is set to 3 as it has always been, then no Lobbys connect and the steam group doesnt show up.
It is obviously a valve problem that needs fixing fast.
The Server is set up perfectly and Up until these updates including the update yesterday morning, my Server was full 24/7 when set to region 3 and is rated at 193 / 10490 in Game Monitor. - http://www.game-monitor.com/left4dead2_GameServer/77.74.199.250:27055/Left4Dead_-_Public_Server_-_Lob_UK_Fun_Servers.html
Until they fix this, i have no choice but to comment out the sv_region or the Server will be totally empty 24/7

Must just effect certain regions then because like i say, when i set region 3 back again as it was and as it should be, the steam group doesnt show up and zero lobbies join. Even when you do a custom server search and set the search to region 3, it only comes up with around 30 Servers or so which is way too low. I think some region 3 servers are getting through now and again but mostly not.
Quite a few servers have probably not even set the region in the first place and would not be effected or even know about this problem.
Might be something to do with the Steam Matchmaking system Servers themselves possibly.

sv_region 255 is what it sets to when it's not specified in a config.

Just so everyone knows, this problem has now been fixed at Valves End.
I have region 3 set again and the Steam Group shows up and Lobbies are connecting again as normal. :wink:
