Hlds launch problem.

Hi all, i have a problem launching my HLDS.exe. I use windows Vista. I tried to launch it without amxx, then it starts. I have 5 servers, 4 servers use the same amxx, on the same pc, even the plugins are almost the same, 3 servers are now running without problems, but 1 server doesnt launch.

im assuming you know what your doing.. so I wont ask the questions on whether or not its blocked, I dont run vista so my assumptions can be wrong, I am guessing that hlds does not like the VC++ runtime, try reinstalling it, does it run vanilla? (no addons)

It runs with booster, dproto, metamod, but if i try to enable the amxx i get that error. I will test reinstall, and answer.

Well, I am suggesting this to everyone that gets it. Run the server in console mode! It makes the server run smoother, and it will always show you the error.

it was never mentioned in the main post, so I didnt notice, im sorry.. anyways im glad your problem was fixed, but maybe you shouldnt run dproto?
