Will this stop the crashes specific to pl_goldwater and pl_badwater (possibly pl maps in general)? I'm still really confused as to what the source of the crashes are, but with all the latest updates to the server and Source Mod, I am still getting crashes, several of which happened on pl maps.

Just install the plugin in the link, thats it. You don't even need metamod source for it.

Yes, it will stop PL maps crashing your server. Our servers have been fine for a few hours now.
