    version 0.2b by SAMURAI

    Plugin Details:
    This plugin adds paintball game effects for all weapons

    Plugin Cvars:
    paintball_active
    (default 1)
    0 - Plugin Disabled
    1 - Plugin Enabled

    paintball_color (default "random")
    Also available colors : "red", "green", "yellow", "blue" , "teamcolor","random"
    ! "teamcolor" means CT's will have blue paintball effects and T's red

    paintball_life (default 10) - Set the life in seconds of paintball effect

    How to install:
    1) Enable plugin.
    2) Extract "paintball_effects" archive. Copy decals folder into your /cstrike/materials/ folder.

    - Added "teamcolor" option for paintball_color cvar
    - Fixed bug when you shooting on barrels from *_dust* maps

    The plugin looks good, but I have one question. Why not just use the x/y/z event floats from bullet_impact?

    because if i draw the sprite at origin returned by x/y/z event floats and i hit a player it will draw sprite where the victim is, and when victim moves the sprite remains on air and it's pretty ghetto

    Hmm well it wouldn't seem right if you shot somebody and then a paintball mark appears on the wall behind them. You should check and see if the point that bullet_impact is at is a wall or not.

    Something wrong with download?

    I set it up right up but the materials dont download correctly?
    /materials/decals/concrete/FILES HERE



    I know what it is, the files already exist, you can not have a client overwrite!
    you have to change the locations of the materials
    (materials/decals/paintball/concrete/SHOT1.vtf) and so on...

    You know what'd be really cool. Having an option that allows u to specify paint depending on team.

    CT can get blue

    T can get red.

    Maybe I'm just thinking too much. But wouldn't that be cool?

    @bl4nk : i can have problems here. Walls have different classes. I think the method i used is good
    @fpsbrian : there are no everwrite because sprites names are *spritename_paint
    @ottobohn : maybe i'll add a cvar for that
    @abelp : No, because 'bullet_impact' event doesen't exists in TF2
