    svtags
    Removes all information stored in the 'sv_tags' cvar.

    Information:
    This plugin removes the information stored in the sv_tags cvar on every game frame. This makes it so your "custom" server is put on the Internet tab instead of the Custom tab. The purpose behind this is because with the implementation of the new Tab system, the population of many servers has died down due to people not understanding (or noticing) the new system.

    Installation:
    • Download the plugin by clicking "Download Plugin" and save it to your ~/tf/addons/sourcemod/plugins folder.
    • Use one of the following methods to load the plugin:
      • Restart the server.
      • Run the command sm plugins load svtags on your server console.
      • Change the map the server is on.

      • The plugin waits for the sv_tags convar to change and then removes the data instead of changing it every frame.
    Notice:
    As of the Heavy Update for TF2, this plugin is no longer needed if you run a TF2 server. It will remain up until Valve pushes out an update for DOD:S that will remove the custom tab from that game as well.

    Possible CPU Increase Usage:
    This plugin creates a constant struggle between itself and the server. There are better plugins out there (ones that aren't for SourceMod) that will do the same thing as my plugin (that being move the server to the Internet tab) with different methods that are probably better. To help reduce the stress the plugin puts on the server, I made a new version that lessens the blow a bit. This should reduce CPU usage if yours is significantly higher when using this plugin. Try it out if you want, it will have the same effect as if you were to use the 1.0.0 version.


    WARNING: Valve is to start delisting servers that are listed on the "Internet" tab that aren't suppose to be on there. Whether this plugin will get your server delisted or not is undetermined. Use this plugin at your own risk. If you get delisted, don't come complaining to me.

    Wow, it was all deleted?
    Hey forum admins, I have an idea for your consideration, make a hidden forum only admins can see, call it something like "thread graveyard", and move stuff there instead of deleting. Then other admins can see it, and you can undelete if needed, also you can refer to it in case of repeat offenders, etc..

    In spirit of fairness, I did change my respawntimes back to normal.
    I had mp_respawnwavetime at 5, i set it back to 10.
    But one of my servers does still have 26 visible slots, and the other two have 24, but with some hidden slots for reserved.

    Excellent work, within 30 mins of installing this, my server was full as it was before the last update, didn't alter the custom settings either IE: no crits, instant spawn

    If your server is insta-spawn, quakesounds, birthday, or modded so that it's a lot different than they way valve intended, I would discourage you from using this.

    I for one wouldn't like to be tricked onto a crazy server if I am not in the mood for a crazy game.

    If you're using this to put your server back on the main list if you just have increase maxplayers, or respawnwavetime at 5, then I think this plugin is for you.

    You probably know, but make sure to set it to 10.0, if its just 10 it still gives the flag. Or run the plugin and not worry about silly Valve bugs.
    And this whole thing Valve has done is not effective anyway. You can do far more customization with plugins than with a few cvars. Jetpacks, medics dropping healthkits, engineers dropping ammopacks to name a few examples.

    i dont know if any of you guys saw this quote but

    so from what im getting from that is that this plugin wont work after the next update. This sucks cause I run a 32 man server with all the valve default settings intact.
