I posted the fix there. Please ignore the actual website. It is just a site for the few servers I host for my clients to use and I will eventually move away from the steam look. I just used the look for now as I am working on maintaining servers (obviously) for my clients rather than designing site layouts and what not.

Thanks CrimsonGT

After spending a futile hour or so, before I went to bed last night, trying to figure out what the issue was I'm glad I have something to try when I get back tonight.

/me hopes it works.

Where did you get this fix? From what I can see this variable only takes 0/1 normally.

apparently the new default for tf2 is

mp_forcecamera 3

this will not restrict spectators viewpoints, but will force players on blu and red to only see their own team in first person/chase cam.

And they are working on a fix for why setting to 1 crashes servers

Yeah I posted it on steam forums last night, got in a fight with the moderator over how the site looked, and got banned lol.

Tried it out, worked great. They've updated TF2 now though, the update works much better.

Just get your servers updated, the patch fixed it. This was just the temporary solution until Valve undid the screwup.
