I'm new at this, and have trawled the forums but cannot seem to see if this has been covered previously, so I apologise if it has.

basically, I am trying to create a map rotation on CZ that goes something like:

Θ- Office - sv_alltalk 0, round limit 22 mins
Θ- Dust - sv_alltalk 0, round limit 30 mins
Θ- FY Map - sv_alltalk 1, round limit 10 mins
Θ- Aztec - sv_alltalk 0, round limit 22 mins
Θ- Fy Map - sv_alltalk 1, round limit 15 mins
Θ- Etc, Etc.

I can change the configs of each map when I am in them but I would like to know if there is a way of setting up a config list that loads the maps with different server related configs.

Is it possible to create config files for individual maps?
Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks
UC

Create mapname.cfg in configs/maps and enter all custom settings in there.

Thanks for the reply, how do I specify which maps have which configs?. I Understand the idea of using a config file, however how do I specify the different maps within the file.

Basically the file would need to check which map is being loaded and allocate the correct config. This is the bit I'm stuck on.

Okay heres an example:
Create mapname.cfg in configs/maps;
  • name it de_dust2.cfg
  • put your settings in there like this:
//enables sv_alltalk 1
sv_alltalk 1
//sets gravity to 200
sv_gravity 200

If you still don't understand please tell me.
Also your question,
It specify's it by the cfg name. So say if you have your cfg already done an in maps / configs then on map change it looks through your configs automatically exec's the cfg on map change.

Thank you. I just make a cfg file for each map that I wish to run and place all them all in the following folder:

config/maps

IE: de_dust.cfg
de_aztec.cfg
fy_buzzkill.cfg

etc etc.

With each of those files containing the server settings. Yes?

Oh and just to confirm the directory should be:

blah/blah/czero/maps/config ?

Much appreciated. Thank You.

The directory should be:
blah/cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/maps
