If anyone uses photoshop you know what I meen!
A small program that handles map tasks like check if it has all wads, mdl, sounds, etc... Make their RES file if it isn't there. Check if it is corrupted or updated etc! Very very usefull tool!



And another one for amxx plugins with conection to amxx database to check if there are updates
or reading errors with tools like separate plugins by type: Fun, Admin, etc...! Check if models or sprites needed are there!

This would save a lot of posts space with stupid questions!

The Resgen is a creator of *.res. What I meen is a visual tool in a window that lists all the maps letting you see what resources it uses while creating a res if it isnt there so if anything is missing you can see it instantly and with extra tools like install maps by just adding all the resources to a window and it separates it to the right place with easyness. Check if it is updated. Wad replacement if wanted etc... All you can think it's usefull even creator tools.

You can do all that with Resgen if you use it correctly.

Wad replacement? that requires map editing... just open .res to see what you need... run the map to see if you have all resources... creator tools? Like a mapping program? like valve hammer editor?
