Morph v1.2 (formerly the Hero plugin Copycat)

Description
Shapeshift into a Crate - Disguise yourself as a Crate and blend into the environment! Crate looks best when standing still.

if you don't know in the future, start up server and the error you get will tell you where to put the model, cause it will be looking for it in that exact place

Normally I wouldn't ask, but I would really like this hero on my server. I think it will make skeletor more useful. So could you or someone port this hero for amxx. I have tried several times and it never changes the extension of the file, so I know I am doing something wrong. If you can great! If not, well I guess I'll make it thru another day. thanks

just remove the line #include <xtrafun> at the top and change the CS_SetModel to cs_set_user_model (2 places) and it should compile for amxx...

I'll clean it up in a few days, but I think this hero would be better if you only turned into a box if you werent moving sorta like invisible man. Also, I think this character should be named Morph not Copycat, though Im not sure why copycat was chosen.


Edit: Can I change the name of this hero would anyone care?

haha, I just thought of something. I can add the box damage sound when you get hit if your morphed...

I think you guys are gonna like what im doin with this hero...

does any one what me to post the amx 9.8a version so that you dont have to use the bind key to morh into the box

Yea that would be nice i see where u are coming from. Post it when your done and ill put it on my server lol if i get it to work.

Hero updated (with name change):
Code:
* v1.1 - vittu - 1/25/05
*      - Renamed Hero from Copycat to Morph due to copycat comic
*          charaters powers not able to morph into objects.
*      - Added the ability to Toggle power with use of a cvar.
*      - Added Maxtime option as a cvar.
*      - Added sounds to morphing and also added box damage sounds
*          when you take damage to make you sound like a crate.
*      - Removed p_weapon model for when you are morhed, since when
*          you looked like a crate your gun was above you in mid air.
*      - Cooldown cvar now works since before you never unmorphed
*          until you died.
Enjoy. Will add an ingame image to top post when I get a chance.
