AMXX with dedicated server

Can someone please take the time and help me. I have asked so many times but noone will help.
i want to set up a dedicated serber for cs 1.6 on xp. i have done that but i still get unknown command wen i try to type n e amx_commands. i still don't know if my amxx is instaled properly coz noone will help me

but before n e one posts a message saying change u liblist, i have already done that. i have added that line to the plugin folder i think it is in the right one.
in cstrike/addons/metamod/then its in like file looks a bit like note pad called pluginss.
and it says in there: win32 addons/amxx/dlls/amxx_mm.dll (and thats it)
i dunno wot else to do.
i think i have set up admin right
in cstrike/addons/amx/config/users
it says at the bottom:

Everything looks right. Try these commands and let me know which works and which doesn't.

Get a game started. Type meta list in the console. It should return with..
] meta list
Currently loaded plugins:
description stat pend file vers src load unlod
[ 1] AMX Mod X RUN - amxx_mm.dll v0.2 ini ANY ANY
1 plugins, 1 run

If that works type.. amx_modules
you should get something like this..

] amx_modules
Currently loaded modules:

And if that works then type amx_plugins and you should get a list similar to this.

first off thanx very much for acknowlegding my problem. so many ppl usually ignore u in these forums. but none of those commands work.
did u mean in the dedicated server try that coz i did that, but i haven't yet change n e thing in the dedicated server program is that right. plus when u have in stalled admin right should it come up wiv something saying that u have done it coz it seems as if nothing is n e different. the only thing that has really happened is i can't set up a new game. here is a list of the folders i have got i might not have instaled it properly or somein.

(sorry btw this all a quote from another convo, but still read it

cs 1.6, on steam. and i have windows. ( i don't even know wot linux is) i have changed that liblist already. i have followed all those steps,set up a password and stuff but it still don't work. wait this is wot i have done so far. this is wot my liblist says:

Are you running the dedicated server on a different machine then your gaming PC?

I had a similar problem to the subject maker. I've installed as you suggested in that guide but no luck. When I type Meta list in console, it claims no plugins are being used. Why won't it work?? :S

If you can't get meta list then you can narrow it down to the path to metamod whether you use the liblist.gam method or the icon target line switch..
-dll addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll

OK. I am having the same exact problem as the above post. My friend is running a HLDS server and he has given me admin access. None of the amx_"commands" work though. When I type in "meta list" in the console this is what appears:

Now this is telling me that AMX isn't even loaded right?? If so, how do I make sure that he loads AMX? Now that I think of it, isn't the STATSME plugin an AMX plugin?? After each round we do see who we got shot by and who we shot at...So if this plugin is working, how come it doesn't show in the meta list??

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

Can't remember what cfg file, you say that is should load metamod. But i think it is in the server.cfg in your cstrike dir. Then check if the file is a really cfg and not a txt file or a cfg.txt file.
It tricked me, and my AMXMODX didn't load. If you dont now how to make a cfg file. Then copy a cfg to the dir, rename it and delete all it's content....

Hope it will work, if that's the problem.
