Description:
This plugin shows a mesage to the players on a server if a new player is connecting to the server

The new messages show the clients Name, SteamID.

Cvars:

• sm_joinleft_version 1/0 | 1 = Enable 0 = Disable

Installation:

1. Download the SMX file.
2. Browse your server files
3. Goto cstrike/addons/sourcemod/plugins
4. Place the SMX in the folder.
5. Change the map or restart the server.

You should supress the default game messages first and add a cvar for both connect and disconnect.

I like it, just what I'm looking for, BUT...

It looks like this now

Player Jeremy has joined the game Player: Jeremy SteamID: STEAM_0:X:XXXXX Join the game.

Anyway it can be made to look like this:

Jeremy [STEAM_0:X:XXXXX] has joined the game.

Welp

• The cvar sm_joinleft_enabled does nothing.
• There is no version cvar.
• The plugin calls LogError("%N", client) when a client joins or leaves, this is not only totally worthless for logging but it will also fill the server's error logs with loads of garbage.
• On line 22 you might want to add an "ed" to your "Join".

Also your cvar "sm_joinleft_version" doesn't exist.

There are other plugins that already provide the same (and more) functionality than this one does.
