Are you tired when get incapped and your team mates can't find you? "Right, right, now left, more ahead, here here, I'm here newbieee!!!"

Now your problem is solved with Red Flag Incapped

It is very simple, when you are incapacitated, just ascend The Red Flag and wait a team mate to go save you.

I think this is a good idea for realism servers, I have a 12 survivors Coop, this plugin will be great. Please, some dev do it

Isn't the Survivors screaming HELP IM OVER HERE at the top of their lungs enough? Sure, in combat you cant find them, but in that case you just follow the zombies

No, because in server with 4+ survivors, sometimes the incapped survivor scream, but the sound get in the clone over there and not the real player incapped... That's why will be very great in servers with 4+ survivors running realism

env_flare is a HL2 point entity only -


You'd have to use CreateEntityByName with env_sprite, env_particlelight, env_steam and some prop for the model as described here

I don't know these stuff. I give the idea and will be nice if a dev do the plugin, but I really don't know how do plugins

Mate, thanks a lot for did the plugin, I love it! I'll test when I get home, but I guess you should get the red flag like my picture that I caught in the game. Will be more realistic.

Updated again, using "point_spotlight" instead of "light" entity, because I cannot make it work. The point_spotlight is facing to the ground which creates the light glow - a bad method but all I can do right now... you get the idea, I hope someone can finish this off.

Oh yeah, I also added the pipebomb fuse particle effect, thanks to DJ_WEST's Incapped Grenade plugin.

Hi Silvers

This plugin is really good and very useful for realism and other game mods too. I tested with V!sual and we think need some changes.

Ideas

1- Should work only for incapped survivors;
2- The Red Flag should turn off after some seconds, if you still incapped you need ascend another Red Flag;
3- The plugin should limit only 1 Red Flag per player;
4- I think the smoke effect sould be like my picture, become more realistic ;)

Issues

1- Somethimes the smoke don't work (generally when you spawn a lot of Red Flag)
2- If you spawn a lot of Red Flah like 10 in the same place, your FPS reduce. This issue will be solved doing the ideas above.
3- When you look up, the smoke disappear.
