Server Redirect [CSS]

Hi all

Here are idea :

I have 2 server's of css :

If 1 server full = plugin redirect all people who join to 1 server to 2 server .

The automatic redirect on an empty server too is necessary to me.
Stupid players wait slot on a full server, and the second such costs the empty.
In these plugins of such function is not present.

It's no longer possible to automatically redirect players without their consent.

I believe if you put this line into your motd you can auto redirect people without consent:

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=steam://connect/SERVERip">

Nope, that feature was removed by Valve a week or two ago.

out of curiosity, why cant we redirect without permission? I mean if my server 1 is full, i WANT them to be redirected to another of my servers. Can anyone explain why its no longer allowed? OH this would be for SOURCE games in general not just CSS

Because Valve blocked commands being run on a client from the server and you have to make the client execute the "connect" command to redirect to another server.

If you add this line and only this line to your motd.txt it will redirect without permission:

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=steam://connect/SERVERip">

It does still work and if you don't believe me join this server I setup to redirect to my new server:

IP: 207.210.252.155:27016
