Oh great. I was given -karma for giving out a link showing how to do this.

This puts me in a generous mood, so I'll show everyone how to type in color instead of just using a bind.

Steps for regular chat:
1) Make a config called "colorchat.cfg".
2) In that config add the following...

messagemode "say %"

3) bind y "exec colorchat.cfg"


Steps for team chat:
1) Make a config called "teamcolorchat.cfg".
2) In that config add the following...

messagemode "say_team %"

3) bind u "exec teamcolorchat.cfg"


NOTE: Read the link in my above post to change the colors. I think you all can figure it out from here. There might be a better way to do this, but it works.

And, I thank whoever gave me -karma for the inspiration to post this. Maybe I can get some +karma from this post, but from the look of how ignorant a lot of people here are my karma will just downfall
