I will set up new server soon but i don't have any ideas what server it would be. My main idea was to make kz server but i dont know anymore.

So i need ideas. ie: mods, new mods(requests), maps etc...

That fully depends on what you want ore like , If you want to sell admins ore somthing (xD) you could choose somthing populair where people needs admins like hns , but you better pick somthing you like cause making money on renting a server doesnt go together . So , What do you like?

I had hns server for year... So no thanks to hns..

Something that requires shooting skills. ;)


edit: This is counter-strike 1.6 server i am talking about.

I've decided NOT to use it, so i need new ideas.

Make either a zombie mod infection or wc3ft server, they are so popular! And just look at clan Ownage|, they make a boatload from selling their admins.

i like a server that is realistic (well till some point that is)
i think those warcraft and zombie stuff are just way over of what CS is.
My 'server' that i put online sometimes(due banwith limit of 12GB/month) is just plain CS oldstyle with some modifications
like when a player sees an enemy it automaticly says enemy spotted
and teammates know where it happend if they watch the minimap.
Also weapon jams is added because in real life it can also jam.
I used to play America's army so moste of the ideas come from there.

Keeping it simple makes it fun for players that already know the server
and new players that never been on the server.
Also the more simple you keep it the less a player has to download to actualy start to play. who wants to wait 5min of downloading before playing and finding out you downloaded all those models for nothing cause you didnt even like the server?
