The company that hosts my server basically dissapeared overnight along with my subscription money. Can anyone recommend a good, honest company to go with? I want it based in California. Thanx in advance.

What kind of server are we talking about because web hosting is different than dedicated/colocation.

ReconGamer did that in September. I was actually pissed off at the fact that if you called them via phone, the machine would answer, tell you no one is available, and hang up on you.

Luckily, I canceled in August.

yes it's a gaming server that i am looking for, sorry for not being more clear. As far as suing them, they only ripped me off for 36 bucks so it's not really worth the time,although i am filing a complaint with paypal. I had over 6000 ppl ranked so this is really a pain in the ass,although i wasn't happy with their tick rate and communication (their phone number didn't even work)so i guess this needed to happen anyway. I just really need someone dependable for the future. Thanx for the feedback.

If you just want a small server for your small community...Just get those $1/slot GSPs. I wouldn't recomment NFo since they aren't cheap. Though have of my servers are hosted by NFo, ahehehe.

Plus where in California are you? There's tons of GSP that can be around 50 miles from your house or whatever.
