So when using "sm_damage_weapon" is <weapon> typed like this weapon_m4a1 or m4a1?

You should use the exact weapon name:

I think there's a minor bug for L4D ... for some reason your plugin spams 'not setted' in public chat at round start. I think for every Weapon a Survivor has and that i didn't set a custom multiplier for.

Just to be sure: How do i get a list of weapon names, or better, which weapon names are the correct ones for L4D?

Right now I'm using

sm_damage_weapon rifle 1.3
sm_damage_weapon hunting_rifle 1.3


is that even correct, or should i use

sm_damage_weapon weapon_rifle 1.3
sm_damage_weapon weapon_hunting_rifle 1.3

or something different altogether?

Your plugin responds 'set successfully' on either one, i don't think thats good

weapon_rifle and weapon_hunting_rifle

You have to wirte sm_damage_weapon weapon_* 1.3.

I respond "set successfully" only as a status message, not as a guarantee that it has worked.

If you want all weapon names, you can look into folder:
Code:
C:\*\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\scripts
There are some weapon_*.txt files, which are equivalent with the weapon names.
