Installed the plugin, Songs get downloaded from /sounds/misc/

But they dont play...

My MP3 Volume is on full, the 2 mp3's im tring to play have no spaces in them and they are 96kb/s Stereo files.

I dont get why it doesnt play..

im using loadingsongadvanced.amxx

lol I just found it out, you have to enable those sound support things in audio section....

I have not tried this plugin yet because I am not at home right now.
But what I am wondering is.

When does the song stop playing?
Because I am looking for a plugin that will force users that connects to listen to a pre-recorded announcement but I don't want it to stop in the middle of the “song” instead the clients have to listen to the whole mp3.

easy easy fix for this...

instead of using precache_sound to precache an MP3 file.. use precache_generic instead and just add the /sound/ part to the beginning of the filename...

this stops the message from coming up in console (which didnt seem to do any harm anyway, but its always nice to get rid of those things...).. its like precache_sound is best used for only *.wav files..

Ok here is the error I get:

Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/misc/pinkfloyd.mp3' Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/misc/pantara.mp3' Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/sound/misc/pinkfloyd.mp3' Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/sound/misc/pantara.

I got both .mp3's in my server side /sounds/misc

and on my sv_downloads side under /sounds/misc

I've tried different combo's of on sv_downloads but not in server side and other way as well.

can anyone help me?

BTW amx_loadsong is set to 1 also but I hear nothing, and volume is up on mp3 in game options.

in your loadingsongs.ini do you have put just the name's of the mp3 ? like this

pinkfloyd.mp3
pantara.mp3

Do I need to list them twice, I only have 2 song right now and they are listed like this:

pinkfloyd.mp3 pantara.mp3

I don't know why it shows them twice in the errors I get....

Ok ok I changed the names of the mp3 that I put on the the servers to match the loadingsong.ini, yes yes I'm a nub...BUT it only works once in awhile...one time you will hear the song then next time you won't, plus it only plays the pantara song, never the second one...why is that?
